United Producers is a creative, aggressive brokerage insurance agency that features the traditional normal menu of term and permanent products along with the fantastic non traditional special products such as guaranteed issue and simplified issue policies reserved for the most difficult life applicants.  Our carriers have been carefully selected and our staff has been meticulously trained to be part of one of the best impaired risk underwriting agencies in the country.

United Producers is owned and operated by United Producers Inc. whose president George Varanakis started the first independent brokerage agency in Utah, United Underwriters in 1969.  As a leader in the new industry of  independent brokerage life insurance sales, George was the president of SUBCENTERS, the Society of Underwriting Brokers in 1980 and 81, and was one of  the original organizing members of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies, NAILBA, now a 700 + member group.

With George Varanakis heading United Underwriters, the first term comparison software programs were created and put into service by United Underwriters in 1986, which was the forerunner to the term comparison programs used today.  In 1993, George Varanakis also created the Quick Quote Impaired Risk underwriting questionnaire which is credited with changing the approach life insurance carriers took to impaired risk underwriting.
